The defender is currently far out of favour at Liverpool.
Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho
According to French newspaper Le Parisien, AC Milan and Inter Milan are both interested with Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.
Sakho is currently out of favour at Anfield after falling down the pecking order at the club after a fall-out with manager Jurgen Klopp in the summer.
He has failed to feature for the Reds this season, who added to their defence with the signings of Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan in the summer transfer window.
A departure from Merseyside is looking extremely likely, with several Premier League clubs thought to be interested in his services.
It seems they may face competition for his signature, though, with Le Parisien reporting that there is interest in Italy.
According to the newspaper, both AC Milan and Inter Milan are both looking into the possibility of taking Sakho to Serie A.
Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho
They report that Paris Saint-Germain, Sakho’s former club, are also interested in the defender but that he prefers a move to Italy.
With such interest in his services, it will be interesting to see where Sakho ends up, with Liverpool likely to push hard to recoup what they paid to bring him to Anfield despite him being a fringe player at this moment in time.
