Tottenham Hotspur have again been linked with AC Milan’s Suso.
Tottenham Hotspur have gone two transfer windows without making a new signing, so fans are expecting at least some incoming movement during the summer window.
The January transfer window only came to an end a matter of weeks ago, but there are already rumours surrounding Spurs for the summer market.
Sport Mediaset in Italy reported just days ago that Spurs want AC Milan duo Franck Kessie and Suso, with a scout from Tottenham heading to watch them in action against Atalanta on Saturday night.
Milan ran out comfortable winners, but the Spurs scout may not have been too impressed with the performance of Suso, who played out on the right flank for Gennaro Gattuso’s side.
The Spaniard – formerly of Liverpool – has notched five goals and eight assists in Serie A this season, but there was no sign of that attacking spark on Saturday.
Suso picked up a booking and was substituted after 77 minutes, and Milan fans took to Twitter to blast his performance in front of that alleged Spurs scout in Bergamo.
Milan fans called Suso ‘terrible’ and a ‘total liability’, feeling that he has become complacent; after all, he has one goal and no assists in his last 13 games.
Others called him the worst Milan player on the pitch, with most acknowledging that he simply isn’t at his best right now – and Spurs fans may hope that they don’t firm up any interest in him this summer if these reviews are anything to go by.
