AC Milan are reportedly interested in Kyle Walker, with the Manchester City defender potentially on the move at the end of this season.

According to the Times, the 32-year-old England international could leave the reigning Premier League champions this summer with City yet to discuss renewing Walker’s deal, with AC Milan looking to swoop for the right-back.

Lauded by Roy Keane as a player who has enjoyed a ‘very good’ career since moving to Manchester from Tottenham for a reported £52m, Walker has seemingly fallen out of favour at City this season, with Pep Guardiola rotating the right-back position heavily.

With the City no. 2 enduring injuries and issues off the pitch, Walker’s time at City could soon be coming to an end, and Milan could be the next destination for the four-time Premier League champions.

The Rossoneri are no strangers to signing English stars with Milan bringing Fikayo Tomori to the San Siro in 2021 to incredible results. And Walker could be the next British star for the Italian giants this summer.

Walker’s time in Manchester is seemingly coming to an end after a sensational spell with City under Guardiola, and a move to Milan could be ideal for the England international this summer.

The Italian league is slowly growing into a great division for British talents to call home and to play regular football, and with Milan one of the biggest clubs in Europe, Walker has the quality to match Stefano Pioli’s expectations for the Rossoneri.

Moreover, with Milan making the UEFA Champions League semi-finals this season, the San Siro side could soon have the European and financial pull to meet Walker’s demands having spent so long at the top with City in the Premier League.
