AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is in talks with Parma chief Tommaso Ghirardi over Jonathan Biabiany and close to agreeing a deal.

Since the arrival of Clarence Seedorf, AC Milan have exploded into life in the transfer market and Parma star Jonathan Biabiany could be the next addition to the squad.

Seedorf replaced Massimiliano Allegri with the Rossoneri struggling badly and he has managed two wins from two Serie A games, albeit with a Coppa Italia exit sandwiched between.

Milan looked likely to have a quiet transfer window but replacing Allegri with Seedorf seems to have signalled a new transfer strategy.

The Diavolo have already signed Michael Essien from Chelsea and made a surprise move for Adel Taarabt and now they are attempting to lure highly rated winger Jonathan Biabiany.

Biabiany nearly signed for Sunderland last summer but instead he stayed at Parma where he has been magnificent so far this term.

The 25-year-old is blessed with dazzling pace and the ability to turn defences inside out and Milan are attempting to persuade Parma chief Tommaso Ghirardi to let him leave.

According to Tuttosport and La Gazzetta dello Sport, talks are reaching an advanced stage and will include Parma receiving Italian international defender Cristian Zaccardo and the other 50 percent of highly rated young midfielder Riccardo Saponara as well as a cash sum of around £1.75m.
