It makes Marcelo Biesla’s arrival at Leeds so exciting and so interesting – here is a coach who believes wholly in the system over the players and will spend time overhauling a team’s style and shape within one of the most chaotic leagues in the world.
Can it even be done? We don’t know yet – so how do you judge incomings? It’s highly unlikely that many of the new players will have dealt with such intensities like Bielsa’s, let alone players already there, and so signing the ‘right’ players when you simply don’t know who will click and who won’t is difficult.
