‘He’s the guy I’d want’: Some Liverpool fans rave about Arsenal 23-year-old’s performance

Liverpool & Arsenal supporters were impressed with Kieran Tierney’s performance on Wednesday evening after he helped Scotland beat the Faroe Islands 4-0 in a World Cup qualifier.

Channelling his inner Paolo Maldini, and dare it be said Andy Robertson, Arsenal’s rising star provided three assists for his country on a night to remember.

And he didn’t do it playing as a left-back, or a left wing-back, but on the left side of a back three.

Liverpool and Arsenal will lock horns at the weekend and one half of that heavyweight clash will be hoping for more of the same on Saturday evening.

But, in the meantime, the Liverpool fans can admire the quality Tierney brings to the table, even though some Arsenal fans feel he is better than his fellow countryman.

On current form, it’s Tierney who wins that argument, but other than that, Robertson’s medals do the talking for him.

Plus, it’s going to be some battle at the weekend, because whilst Arsenal v Liverpool is no longer a top-of-the-table clash, it still has spice to it and the two flying Scotsman will be hoping to provide that on the flanks.
