Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with Jude Bellingham, and his England international teammate and Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips’s comments about him only highlight just why the Reds are so keen on him.
Phillips played with Bellingham, linked with a move to Liverpool, for the England national football team.
And the Manchester City star has been hugely impressed by the 19-year-old Dortmund midfielder.
According to ESPN last week, Liverpool are among the clubs keen on signing Bellingham next summer.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Manchester City are also reportedly keen on securing the services of the teenager in the summer of 2023.
Praise for Liverpool target Jude Bellingham from Kalvin Phillips
Phillips said about Bellingham on BBC Radio 5 Live (8pm, November 7, 2022): “He has been absolutely unbelievable.

“For a kid that age to be doing the things that he is doing, it is unbelievable. Credit to him because he has worked hard.”
Exciting
In our view, Jude Bellingham would be a great signing for Liverpool and would make the Reds much better in the middle of the park than they are at the moment.
The former Birmingham City midfielder is a very dynamic box-to-box player who scores goals, drives his team forward, can hold his own in the middle of the park, and can break the opposition’s play.
Signing Bellingham ahead of the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City would be a coup for Liverpool.
