Owen Hargreaves has raved about Rangers attacking midfielder Ianis Hagi on BT Sport 2 (11:26pm, November 4, 2021).
The former Manchester United and Manchester City midfielder was impressed by Hagi, as Rangers played out a 1-1 draw with Brondby away from home in Europa League Group A last night.
The 23-year-old, who can also play as a forward, came on as a substitute and scored the only goal for Steven Gerrard’s side.
Hargreaves said: “Hagi, his finish and his running, was absolutely terrific.”
Big player for Rangers
Hagi is still a very young player, but the Romania international has established himself as a key player for Rangers.
The youngster made a big impact after coming on against Brondby.
The way Hagi took his goal and connected with Ryan Kent was superb.

Perhaps we could argue that Gerrard made a mistake in not including Hagi in the starting lineup.
The Romania international took one shot and it ended in goal, had a pass accuracy of 79%, won one header, took 23 touches, and put in one cross.
Hagi, the son of Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi, has scored one goal in seven Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this season.
The youngster has also scored one goal in three Europa League matches for Rangers this campaign.
