Michael Owen has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the late drama in West Ham United’s Premier League game against Fulham this evening.
West Ham have got the better of Fulham 1-0 at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
Tomas Soucek scored for the Hammers in the first minute of injury time thanks to a brilliant pass from Said Benrahma.
The Hammers must have thought that they had done enough to pick up all three points from London derby, but there was more drama to come.
In the fourth minute of injury time, Fulham were awarded a penalty when Benhrama was adjudged to have brought down Tom Cairney inside the box.
Ademola Lookman stepped up to take the spot kick, and he tried a Panenka. The execution was poor, and West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski did not have any trouble in catching it.
Former Liverpool striker Owen was following the match, and he has given his take on Lookman’s saved penalty.
The result means that West Ham are now 11th in the Premier League table with 11 points from eight matches, while Fulham find themselves 17th with four points from eight games.
