Alan Smith has praised Leeds United star Brenden Aaronson on Sky Sports Premier League (2:12pm, October 9, 2022) for his role in the goal that the Whites scored against Crystal Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in London in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The former Arsenal striker was on co-commentary duty for the match between Palace and Leeds this afternoon.
Leeds scored the first goal after just 10 minutes.
It was Pascal Struijk who found the back of the net.
Aaronson was the architect of the goal.
It was the 21-year-old’s run that led to the goal from Leeds.
And Sky Sports pundit Alan Smith was impressed by the USA international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.
Praise for Leeds United star Brenden Aaronson v Crystal Palace
Smith said: “What a run that was from Aaronson! It was absolutely sensational. He was fouled twice on the way.”

Disappointing result
Leeds United did start the match strongly, but in the end, it was Crystal Palace who picked up all three points from the Premier League encounter.
The Eagles launched a strong comeback, and we have to say that they were the better side in the second half.
Palace played as a team after the break, and the way they passed the ball and connected in attack was too much for Leeds, who will be disappointed with the final result.
