Dion Dublin has praised Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo on BBC Radio 5 Live (5:47pm, March 5, 2023) for his performance against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.
The former Manchester United player noted on the hour mark that Gakpo was “absolutely rampant” for Liverpool.
The 23-year-old Netherlands international forward was one of the best players on the pitch at Anfield.
Liverpool won 7-0 against their bitter rivals.
Gakpo scored two goals, first in the 43rd minute and then on 50 minutes.

Impressive
In our view, Cody Gakpo had one of his best games for Liverpool since his move to Anfield in the January transfer window.
The forward was brilliant against Manchester United and was at ease playing against one of the best teams in the Premier League.
Gakpo was not fazed at all by the big-name defenders in front of him.
The Dutchman played his natural game.
And that was very encouraging.
Gakpo is only 23, and young players do not often turn up against the big teams on the biggest of occasions.
The Liverpool forward took everything in his stride and was a joy to watch.
