Middlesbrough manager Neil Warnock has confirmed his interest in Everton winger Yannick Bolasie and West Bromwich Albion’s Kamil Grosicki, speaking to the Northern Echo.
Warnock the Warlock is weaving another spell in England’s second tier.
Three years after guiding an unfancied Cardiff City team to the most unexpected of promotions, the veteran gaffer has turned Boro from relegation battlers into a team sitting pretty in sixth place and dreaming of a return to the Premier League.
Warnock has Middlesbrough playing far better than the sum of their parts. With only nine goals scored in ten games, improvements are required from an attacking perspective if they are to push for a play-off place.
And with just seven weeks to go until the winter window opens, the 71-year-old has confirmed his desire to sign two fleet-footed attackers who haven’t played a second of Premier League football between them this season.
“Absolutely. I’d have those two tomorrow,” Warnock said of Bolasie and Grosicki.

“And a few others! They’re the type of players I think would benefit from coming with us.”
£28 million Everton misfit Bolasie was described as an “unbelievable” talent by his former Crystal Palace boss a few weeks ago and narrowly missed out on a loan move to the Riverside in October.
Grosicki, meanwhile, saw a move to Championship rivals Nottingham Forest fall through last month after the paperwork was submitted a mere 21 seconds after the transfer deadline.
