Glenn Hoddle says it would be ‘absolutely mad’ if Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool, as he used Chelsea as an example and a warning to the struggling Premier League club.
Back in September, Chelsea decided to sack their Champions League-winning manager Thomas Tuchel and then replaced him with Graham Potter.
Fast forward to the present, and Potter has lasted only seven months, with Hoddle warning that Liverpool can’t do the same with Jurgen Klopp.

On Tuesday night, Chelsea and Liverpool played out a drab goalless draw at Stamford Bridge.
It was 11th vs 8th. At the start of the season, you would have won a lot of money if you predicted such an outcome.
But even though the Reds have had their issues this season, former England star Hoddle stated that they have to stick by their trophy-winning manager, as he told Premier League Productions (04/04/23 at 10:30 pm).
“Look at Chelsea,” said Hoddle. “Look at Tuchel and what they did with Tuchel. What they tried to do with Graham (Potter) and it hasn’t worked out. Now, where are they going?
“It would be absolutely mad for anyone to be thinking that Klopp needs to be moved out and someone else comes in.”

KLOPP NEEDS BACKING
Yes, the German needs to take some form of responsibility for Liverpool’s season, but the £308k-a-week star has enough credit in the bank to go again.
A refreshment is needed on Merseyside, not from top to bottom, but from the middle all the way to the back.
The midfield needs the biggest surgery, and if FSG backs their man in the dugout, then in next to no time, Liverpool will be back on top again.
