Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club posted footage of Lucas Moura’s best bits in the 2-0 win against Aston Villa.
The £23 million Mauricio Pochettino signing ran the show at Villa Park on Sunday night – it was as if the Duracell Bunny had pulled on a Spurs shirt.
Tottenham’s No.27 displayed grit in his aggressive interceptions and bravery to take people on.
He even left Matty Cash on his backside during the second half with one tidy piece of skill, in which he took the Villa No.2 one way before twisting in the other direction.
Alongside the scrappiness, there were moments of delicateness and guile, seen through the 28-year-old’s flicks and tricks which oozed South American flair.

It was such a fantastic display, that Tottenham are still tweeting about it two days after Mike Dean sounded his whistle for full-time in the Midlands.
After some inconsistent displays at the start of the campaign, Lucas is seemingly coming good for Jose Mourinho right in the midst of the season’s business end.

If he can keep this up and fire Tottenham into the top four, supporters will almost certainly point to his efforts as a major reason for such an accomplishment.
Let’s see what the Spurs fans on Twitter have been saying in response to the club’s tweet…
