Some Everton fans on social media have been reacting to Abdoulaye Doucoure’s performance vs Manchester United.
The midfielder was on top form against the Red Devils on Saturday afternoon. He covered almost every blade of grass, and he continued his rich vein of form when it comes to creating goals.
Indeed, Doucoure grabbed his fourth assist of the season as he set up Andros Townsend’s equaliser, further proving just how important he is to Rafa Benitez’s system.
Doucoure was also influential in defence, he made three tackles and two interceptions, and while one of his fouls was punished with a yellow card, he did a great job at slowing United down and breaking up the game.
The fans were certainly impressed by what they saw from the Frenchman, heaping praise upon the former Watford man on social media.
