Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Kai Havertz is close to joining Chelsea.
According to The Guardian, Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement over the transfer of Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that the Blues have discussed personal terms with the 21-year-old attacking midfielder over a five-year contract.
However, according to the report, the Blues are yet to reach an agreement with German club Bayer.
According to a report in Goal.com in May, Liverpool are interested in signing the 21-year-old – who can also operate as a winger – in the summer transfer window.
Back in February, The Express claimed that the Premier League giants are ‘desperate’ to secure the German’s signature this summer.
However, it seems that the Germany international could be on his way to Chelsea, who have already wrapped up the signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.
