Leeds United fans on Twitter aren’t over the moon about a rumour involving Jack Harrison.

According to Sky Sports, Leeds are in ‘advanced talks’ to re-sign the Manchester City winger on loan for another year.

The 22-year-old spent the 2018-19 campaign at Elland Road, scoring four goals and setting up another three in 39 Championship games.

It isn’t an outstanding return and some Whites fans – who are about to lose Thorp Arch gem Jack Clarke – aren’t convinced that Harrison is the answer.

It must be noted that although Harrison was a bit hit and miss for Leeds in general last season, he got a lot better toward the end of the campaign.

Plus, he already knows Marcelo Bielsa’s system and the physical demands needed to impress the Argentine coach, which should, in theory, ensure that he picks up where he left off.

It isn’t quite Helder Costa but, despite a lot of supporters being underwhelmed, this could be a cracking signing. Harrison, who earns around £51,000-a-week with Man City [Spotrac], is only going to get better.
