Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Mohamed Salah on the club’s official website.
Klopp has praised the Egypt international forward for his goals for Liverpool this season despite the team not having the best of times.
The 28-year-old has scored 22 goals in the Premier League this season, as many as Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Going into the final day of the season, both Salah and Kane have the chance to win the Golden Boot.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website about Salah: “I am happy about the fact because it’s easy to see where we would be without Mo’s goals.
“But it’s for all the other teams the same, without the goals their top scorers or whatever score – the guys with the biggest numbers – it would all look differently, of course. We know the team helps him a lot, but Mo carries a lot as well,
“I have to say. That’s clear. It’s his desire, it’s his professionalism, it’s his greed as well which helps us completely. And this year is one of his best years without having the best number of all he had.
“It’s a really top year for him, because for a striker in a team that is not flying constantly, scoring these numbers is absolutely exceptional. That’s what makes him really special.”

There have often been suggestions that Salah is greedy.
Perhaps that is true, but almost all strikers are.
Just look at Cristiano Ronaldo’s numbers. The Portuguese superstar would not be breaking records after records if he was not ‘greedy’.
A striker’s natural instinct is to always score goals.
You could argue that Salah takes too many shots from positions where scoring is tough, but you cannot blame him for trying.
One of the reasons why Liverpool could still finish in the Premier League top four this season is Salah’s goals.
It is really encouraging to see Klopp praise Salah for his goals and back him for what many perceive to be greediness, while also saying that he is a special player.
No one will be saying that Salah is greedy If he scores a hat-tricky today and secures a Champions League spot for Liverpool.
