Rangers fans have taken to Twitter in furious fashion after Celtic made an announcement regarding their friendly against West Ham.

What’s the story?

Well, Celtic announced yesterday that their clash with the east Londoners would see 18,500 fans in attendance.

The Bhoys met with the local Safety Advisory Group before making the announcement.

Ange Postecoglou’s side will also be able to welcome 24,500 at the following game in Paradise, which sees Dundee visit Parkhead.

This is great news for Celtic, but the Rangers fans are seething.

Why has this upset Rangers fans?

Well, it’s no surprise to see the huge amount of angry responses.

Rangers host Brighton on Saturday, where they’ll only be allowed to welcome 8,500 fans into Ibrox, as per their own announcement.

Steven Gerrard’s side then host Real Madrid the following day, where we’ll see a slight increase in supporters – 12,750 are allowed inside the ground.

Well, that’s a mystery, a mystery that has infuriated the Rangers fans and rightly so.
