Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are reacting to the rumour about Ben White potentially joining Arsenal.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal are closing in on a move for the England international.
Brighton want £50 million for the 22-year-old defender and the Gunners have reportedly agreed pay £45 million, plus an additional £5 million in add-ons.
Liverpool have already spent big money on a centre-back themselves this summer, having dropped £36 million on bringing Ibrahima Konate in from Red Bull Leipzig.
With Bundesliga and Champions League experience, you could argue that Konate is the more rounded defender.

Is Ben White joining Arsenal?
Well, that certainly seems to be the case.
David Ornstein is a very reliable reporter and if he has a good feeling about the move, then it’s pretty likely that Arsenal will wind up getting their man.
You can argue until you’re blue in the face that White isn’t worth the money and who knows, perhaps he isn’t.
But Arsenal need to make big moves this summer after finishing eighth in the Premier League last season and this, spending £50 million on a defender, is absolutely a big move.
