Speaking to Liverpool’s official club website, Rhys Williams has been discussing Alisson’s goal against West Brom and how Liverpool players reacted.
We all saw the mass celebrations on the pitch, but what we don’t know about is how the players who weren’t in the squad reacted to the goal.
As you can imagine, Reds players went absolutely crazy, and one man who reacting brilliantly was apparently Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Indeed, Williams says that the former Arsenal man sent a brilliant voice note into the players’ group chat after Alisson’s goal.
“I think that’s going to be the moment we look back on if we continue the way we are and we win our final two games. It’s a defining moment, I can’t speak on anything that I’ve seen better than that. It’s the biggest thing I’ve seen so far this season,” Williams said.
“There were a few voice notes that went in – Ox sent one in of him going absolutely crazy in his front room. Yeah, there’s been a few things knocking about but it’s good-hearted banter.”

We wish we could listen to that voice note.
To be fair, we’re sure that Oxlade-Chamberlain wasn’t the only Liverpool player who had a huge reaction to Alisson’s goal.
A goalkeeper scoring a last-minute winner is a once in a blue moon sight in football, and we can’t even begin to imagine the types of emotions it brings when it happens for your club.
