Some Leeds United fans on social media have been raving over Sam Greenwood after yet another goalscoring performance for the U23s.
Leeds’ youth side have been all-conquering this term, but against Fulham they came a little unstuck on Monday, drawing 1-1 with the London outfit.
However, one man who stood out was Sam Greenwood.
The striker has been in unbelievable form this term, and despite the fact his strike-partner Joe Gelhardt missed this clash, Greenwood still made an impact.
Indeed, the former Arsenal striker put Leeds a goal up within three minutes, and while the Whites couldn’t hold onto that lead, his strike was still taken very well.
Greenwood made the bench for the first-team over the weekend, so it may not be long until Marcelo Bielsa calls upon him to play for the senior side.
Scoring goals at such a rate certainly won’t hamper his chances, and it seems as though he has already won over some of the fanbase.
