Newcastle fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was announced that David Ginola would be appearing on I’m A Celebrity 2021.
What’s the story?
Well, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has a very distinct Newcastle feel to it this year, as Ginola joins Ant and Dec in the jungle.
The Toon Army are taking over!
Ginola joins the likes of EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt – more commonly known as Ian Beale – as well as Good Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley.
However, the Newcastle fans don’t care one bit about them or any other participants – they are solely focused on Ginola.
The Frenchman, who made 76 appearances for Newcastle, will surely have the backing of St James’ Park as he looks to become king of the jungle.
Who knows, the Toon Army could be the difference between Ginola escaping a Bushtucker trial, or having to eat a handful of bugs.
Should Newcastle offer David Ginola a role?

After ousting Mike Ashley, Amanda Staveley and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia need to get fans back in love with Newcastle.
In that respect, what better way to do so than to bring Newcastle legends back to Tyneside in some capacity?
Figures like Kevin Keegan should definitely be brought back, as the Magpies look to rebuild themselves after 14 years of stagnation.

Once he gets out of the jungle, perhaps PIF can give Ginola a call about a potential ambassadorial job at Newcastle, or another role.
For now, let’s see what the Newcastle fans on Twitter have been saying about Ginola’s inclusion on I’m A Celebrity 2021…
