Some Leeds fans are absolutely buzzing after the club released their retained list and provided an update on Ezgjan Alioski’s situation.
Alioski’s contract was due to expire at the end of the season, and he had been linked with moves elsewhere, but it seems as though the Whites are keen to keep hold of the Macedonian.
It had previously been reported that the club had offered Alioski a new deal, but now we’ve heard it directly from the club, and fans are understandably buzzing.
Alioski has been a key player for the Whites this season, cementing himself as Bielsa’s first-choice left-back in the second-half of the campaign, so we can understand why Leeds fans are pleased with this news.
The 29-year-old is a real fan favourite at Elland Road due to his energetic style of play and crazy antics.
Of course, whether or not Alioski signs this contact remains to be seen, but Leeds fans are certainly happy to see that he’d been offered new terms.
