Some Arsenal fans have been left fuming as Ezri Konsa was allowed to stay on the pitch after committing a foul on Bukayo Saka in the first half.

The centre-back seemed to be the last man as Saka raced through on goal, but for some reason the referee only brandished a yellow card and VAR didn’t even take a second look at it.

Understandably, this left Arsenal fans very annoyed, as ultimately, this decision may have cost them a win.

Whether or not it was a red card is up debate.

Konsa was the last man, but other Villa players were running back and it was quite far away from goal, but it’s clear that Arsenal fans watching at home thought it was a stonewall red.

To be fair, David Luiz was sent off in midweek for less than that, so you can understand why Gunners supporters are more than a little peeved by this incident.

Ultimately, it just wasn’t Arsenal’s day as they succumbed to a 1-0 loss against the Villans, but as always, some supporters feel that their team has been hard done by.

Here’s what Gunners supporters have been saying on social media…
