Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left frustrated after Sergio Reguilon picked up an injury on international duty.
The Tottenham left-back had to be substituted off at half-time, as Spain picked up a draw with Portugal.
While the knock didn’t seem too severe, Reguilon was pictured with an ice pack on during the second half.
And Spain boss Luis Enrique confirmed to EFE after the match that the Tottenham defender was now being sent to see the doctor to assess the severity of the problem.
The news comes at a bad time for a Spurs side who were really building momentum.
Reguilon has made a huge impact in his first two appearances for the club, and Tottenham fans are worried about the length of his absence.
If Reguilon is forced to miss Tottenham’s next match against West Ham United then Ben Davies will almost certainly be selected to step in for the Spaniard.
