Swansea City fans suggest that Tottenham Hotspur should have to pay more than £18 million to land Joe Rodon.
The Athletic and the London Evening Standard have reported that Tottenham are keen on Rodon, and are weighing up a bid.
It is claimed that Swansea feel that Rodon is worth around £18 million currently.
Tottenham are trying to land him for a cheaper fee, as things stand, with the two clubs still negotiating.
And Swansea fans think that Tottenham would be landing a bargain, even if they paid Swansea’s current asking price for the defender.
If Tottenham do land Rodon before the closure of the domestic transfer window, he could be the final piece of their jigsaw.
Spurs have made some brilliant additions this summer, but one more central defensive recruit would really give them an enviable squad.
Rodon would be making a big step up by moving to Tottenham, but the signs are that he has the ability to cope, as he has been so impressive in the Championship, over his fledging career to date.
