Jamie O’Hara spent most of the afternoon sticking the boot into Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez on Twitter.

Spurs had a must-win game at Newcastle United today but the clash got off to a nightmare start for Jose Mourinho’s side.

Joelinton fired Newcastle into the lead after 28 minutes and suffice to say that Tottenham didn’t cover themselves in glory defensively-speaking.

It was a botched ball out from defence by the Colombia international which undermined the North Londoners, with Sanchez then failing to cut out Matt Ritchie’s pass which Joelinton slotted home.

There was an element of shambles about the goal from Tottenham’s perspective and here’s how former Lilywhites midfielder O’Hara reacted on Twitter:

Sanchez is by no means a poor defender, but there are times when he does himself – and the team – no favours at all.

And this was certainly one of those occasions.

Thing is, the former Ajax powerhouse didn’t really improve as the game ran on and here’s some more tweets from O’Hara about the 24-year-old:

Sanchez’s error didn’t look like it would cost the visitors, who scored twice through Harry Kane to find themselves 2-1 ahead for much of the second half.

But Arsenal loanee Joe Willock converted an equaliser in the last five minutes to nick a point for the Magpies and make it a day to forget for the Spurs defender.
