Michael Owen has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur duo, Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, are ‘above anything in the league’, as he told Premier League Productions (20/03/22 at 6:45 pm).

The former England international was reacting to the duo’s performance during Tottenham’s 3-1 win over West Ham United on Sunday, as he described them as ‘standouts’ for their side.

Many would probably question where Spurs would be without their record-breaking duo because they would be in serious trouble without them.

In north London, they showcased their worth for the millionth time when they combined twice to help Spurs beat West Ham 3-1.

Owen would have been part of many partnerships during his playing days, perhaps at his best with someone like Emile Heskey, as he shared his thoughts on Tottenham’s flying stars.

“Great players have this instinct together,” said Owen. “They have this wavelength that just gets it.

“They have got that between them. They look as if they get on as well. Both of them are brilliant finishers. Both of them are brilliant assisters.

“These two really are standouts together. They are head and shoulders above anything else in the team and in the league, as a partnership, they are phenomenal.”

Even though opposition teams know that Kane is going to drop deep and feed passes forward like he has a Playstation controller in his hands, they still can’t stop him.

Time and time again he does it and time and time again, he provides passes with such precision and quality.

Whilst some will question why the England captain does drop deep on occasions, which then hurts his chances of putting the ball into the back of the net, as was proven against West Ham.

At the end of the day, his passing range is so good that he can get into any top team in that country with that quality alone.
