West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club announced that planning permission had been granted to enhance the London Stadium.

What’s the story?

Well, this is very big news for West Ham.

Yesterday, the club tweeted to announce that the London Stadium’s capacity can now be increased to 62,500.

An extra 2,500 seats are set to be released, adding to the current 60,000, once the Hammers complete their safety certificate application.

The Irons have taken another significant step in their pursuit of reaching the London Stadium’s full capacity, which is 67,000.

Once that happens, West Ham will be able to boast the biggest Premier League stadium in London.

It would see them eclipse Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea in terms of capacity.

Ever since David Moyes returned, West Ham have got better and better.

Now, they are acting like a seriously big side, off the pitch as well as on it.

Moyes had the east Londoners sitting pretty at the top of Group H in the Europa League with three wins from three games.

Amazingly, West Ham are yet to concede a goal in Europe, while scoring seven.
