Steven Gerrard’s Rangers were held to a frustrating Scottish Premiership draw by Steve Clarke’s Kilmarnock at Ibrox on Saturday.

Max Lowe has warned Rangers that Aberdeen are breathing down their necks after Steven Gerrard’s side dropped points again this weekend, as reported by the Daily Record.
The Gers have now failed to win each of their last four games in all competitions with Saturday’s 1-1 draw at home to Kilmarnock counting as a second successive Scottish Premiership stalemate.
Conor McAleny gave the visitors the lead at Ibrox before Alfredo Morelos equalised with his 29th goal of the season. This, combined with Odsonne Edouard’s 96th minute winner at Dundee 24 hours later, means Rangers are now 10 points adrift at the top of the table.
Aberdeen are a further eight points back but Derby County loanee Lowe believes that The Dons should not give up on securing a fourth straight second placed finish.
“Rangers are there for the chasing. If we win all our games we can do that, as we’ve shown away from home we’re good enough,” he said.

“They have got some hard fixtures coming up but we’ve got to look at ourselves and take it game by game. We want to get back up there with Rangers and Celtic.”
Aberdeen themselves have found wins hard to come by since the turn of the year. They have failed to taste victory in each of their last six league games at Pittodrie.
But Derek McInnes’ side have beaten Rangers twice in the cup this season, knocking Gerrard’s side out in the quarter-finals just last week, and they will be hoping to leave the Glasgow giants red-faced again with two months left before the end of the campaign.
