Aberdeen defender says facing Rangers is perfect tonic for Celtic defeat.

After losing the Scottish League Cup final to Celtic, Aberdeen travel to face Rangers this week.
Rangers are top of the league and full of confidence after victory away to Hearts on Sunday.
Aberdeen’s task could not be tougher, but defender Andy Considine says facing Rangers at Ibrox is an ideal opportunity for his side.
He told the Press and Journal: “It’s one place we would want to go and put it right. The fans were fantastic at the final, they sang all game. They came down in serious numbers, and they deserve a result on Wednesday.
“We will pick ourselves up.”

It helps that Aberdeen played Celtic hard, only losing 1-0.
A heavier defeat could have left them feeling sorry for themselves heading into the Ibrox tie.
Aberdeen are unbeaten against Rangers in two matches this season.
They drew 1-1 at Pittodrie earlier in the year, and then beat Rangers 1-0 in the Scottish League Cup semi-final.
Aberdeen have ground to make up in the league. While they have two games in hand on Rangers, they sit nine points back in seventh place.
A victory over the Gers would put them in a strong position to climb back up the table towards the top positions.
