Michael Owen has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Manchester United’s failure to win against Everton at Old Trafford today.
United have played out a 1-1 draw with Everton at home in the Premier League this afternoon.
Anthony Martial put the Red Devils in the lead after 43 minutes, only for Andros Townsend to restore parity for Rafael Benitez’s side in the 65th minute.
Former United and Liverpool striker Owen believes that Everton deservedly picked up a point from the encounter.
Owen has also said that Everton central midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure was outstanding.
Everton are doing well under Benitez this season, and not many will disagree with Owen’s analysis of the Toffees this afternoon.

Doucoure has been superb for the Merseyside club so far this season, and he was once again brilliant today.
The 28-year-old was an imposing figure in the middle of the park at Old Trafford and showed just how good he is.
The Frenchman took two shots, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 85.3%, won one header, took 48 touches, attempted one dribble, made three tackles, two interactions and one clearance, and put in one cross.
