Solanke is reportedly closing in on a move to Palace.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has told BeIN Sports that he believes Liverpool striker Dom Solanke would be an excellent addition to Crystal Palace’s side in their bid to avoid a Premier League relegation scrap this season.
The Mail has claimed that 21-year-old Solanke has undergone a medical with Palace and is likely to be announced as the club’s newest signing this week.
The former Chelsea forward has failed to make a single Liverpool appearance this season, with Jurgen Klopp preferring the likes of Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and even Divock Origi.
Palace full-back Wan-Bissaka, also 21, said that his England Under-21 international teammate Solanke would be an excellent signing for Palace and would fit right at home at Selhurst Park, as he boasts many qualities similar to his side’s strikers.
“I’ve played with him at international level and he’s quick, and he’s got great movement,” Wan-Bissaka said. “He can finish, but we’ve got the same here at Crystal Palace – anyone who goes up front, we’re confident they will do the job.”
Since joining Liverpool, Solanke has managed just one goal in 27 senior appearances – though the majority of those have come from the substitutes bench. He has scored two goals in two Premier League 2 appearances this term.

Palace do have options up front in the likes of Christian Benteke, Connor Wickham and Alexandar Sorloth, but it is of the opinion that another striker is required if the Eagles are to see off the drop, and one-time England cap Solanke seems to be that man.
Currently in 14th place after 20 league games, Palace have collected 19 points so far and sit just four in front of 18th-placed Fulham. They will be hoping to stretch that gap with a result against Wolves on Wednesday.
