Aston Villa are struggling big time in the Championship.

Aaron Tshibola has posted a positive message on social media as Aston Villa’s Championship woes go on.

Aston Villa drew 0-0 away to Ipswich Town on Saturday in a result which ensures that the Villans have won only one of their eight league outings so far.

It is proving bitterly difficult for Roberto Di Matteo’s side to put a good run of form together; especially given their injury problems.

Aston Villa players look dejected

Tshibola, a summer signing from Reading, is one of several players missing from first-team action at the moment, with the 21-year-old frustrated by a month-long absence.

But the young midfielder is upbeat about his teams’ form, insisting that a “win is coming”.

“People will always talk nonsense. But my God will never fail me, feeling good and positive. The win is coming #godisgood #avfc.”

The good news for Aston Villa is that they do not have the distraction of a midweek fixture this week, giving them a full week in which to prepare for the next game.

The bad news is that their next game is a visit of Newcastle United to Villa Park on Saturday evening, with Newcastle winning five of their last six Championship games.

It will be difficult, but victory may be just what Di Matteo and co need.
