Aaron Ramsey has told Tottenham Hotspur fans that they’re in ‘for a right treat’ in regards to Gareth Bale this season.

Spurs pulled off arguably the biggest deal across Europe this summer by re-signing the Welshman on a season-long loan from Real Madrid.

Bale endured something of an acriminous end to life in the Spanish capital last season, and failed to make Zinedine Zidane’s squad on a regular basis eventually.

One media outlet in Spain even photographed the 31-year-old lounging back on a seat with a face mask covering his eyes while he was supposed to be a substitute.

Things turned sour in a big way but Ramsey, his international team-mate, has revealed that he can see Bale is already much more content after returning to Tottenham.

He said to Sky Sports: “You can see already in some of the interviews he seems a lot happier now so he probably just wants to go back and play football regularly.

“We all know about his quality and I’m sure the Premier League will be happy to have him back as well. I’m sure they’re in for a right treat this season.”

Bale joined the North Londoners despite carrying a slight knock and Tottenham fans won’t see him back in action until October, after the next international break.

But the Spurs supporters have been waiting seven years to see him electrify Premier League defences for their club again, so what’s another couple of weeks?
