Arsenal managed to win a fourth FA Cup in six years on Saturday – and without Aaron Ramsey.

The Gunners edged out Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley to win the competition for a record 14th time.

Ramsey, who joined Juventus on a Bosman last summer, had scored late winners in two of Arsenal’s last three FA Cup final wins – Hull in 2014, Chelsea in 2017.

But the Welshman got his hands on his own silverware on Saturday as Juventus were crowned champions of Italy yet again.

Ramsey, who spent 11 years at Arsenal, posted a photo of himself on Twitter holding the trophy – and here’s how fans of the North London club responded to their former midfielder:

It’s understandable that some Gunners fans want him back, but that ship has sailed.

Under Mikel Arteta, the Emirates Stadium side must look forward, not back, and if they can get Dani Ceballos on a permanent signing this summer, most supporters won’t care about whether Ramsey returns anymore.
