Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has sent am message to Matt Turner after completing his move to Nottingham Forest.

Matt Turner has decided to leave Arsenal with his move to Nottingham Forest now confirmed.

Turner only joined Arsenal last summer, completing a £7.5million move from New England Revolution.

The American international arrived as competition for Aaron Ramsdale with Bernd Leno eventually sold to Fulham.

Turner didn’t make a Premier League appearance last season but did play five times in the Europa League.

The 29-year-old seemed unlikely to replace Ramsdale any time soon and has now decided to move on in search of first-team action.

Nottingham Forest have now pounced, landing Turner in a deal worth £7million rising to £10million.

Dean Henderson may or may not be returning from Manchester United, so there could be a real chance for Turner to play regular.

Turner’s exit now paves the way for Arsenal to sign a new goalkeeper of their own with Brentford stopper David Raya coming in.
