Aaron Ramsdale has admitted that he can picture himself playing for Arsenal for another 15 years, with the England international loving his time with the north London side.
Speaking to BBC Sport, the 24-year-old revealed that he is completely settled in the English capital having signed for Arsenal in 2021 from Sheffield United for £30m, with Ramsdale becoming one of Arsenal’s most important players and a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s plan.
Named Premier League Goalkeeper of the Year and the London Football Awards last night, Ramsdale has been one of the best shot-stoppers in the division this season, keeping 12 clean sheets, the most in the league this campaign alongside Newcastle United star Nick Pope.
Indeed, Ramsdale has been sensational for the Gunners this season, and the keeper saying he wants to stay at Arsenal for another 15 years is something many supporters will love to here, with the England star on his way to becoming a club icon already.
As well as a top performer on the pitch, Ramsdale’s personality has made the former AFC Bournemouth star one of the most well-liked players at the club and beyond. And for fans, they will be hopeful that the keeper can remain at the top of his game for as long as a decade.
