Arsenal goalkeeper Aarons Ramsdale has told The Mirror that club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the talisman for the Gunners.
Ramdale, who joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in the summer transfer window, has said that striker Aubameyang is the “go-to man” for the Gunners.
The English goalkeeper has added that him, midfielder Granit Xhaka and defenders Ben White and Gabriel are the four most vocal players at Arsenal.
Ramsdale has named Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka as two players who are leading by example on the pitch.
The goalkeeper told The Mirror: “If leaders come out in different ways, Emile Smith-Rowe and Bukayo are young lads, but they lead by example with the performances and you’ve got Granit Xhaka, myself, Gabriel, Ben White who are vocal and you’ve got the captain himself who is our talisman, our go-to man and we’re all different leaders in our own way.”

Encouraging
Ramsdale’s comments are very encouraging indeed.
They give a glimpse into how the Arsenal players work with each other.
Now, there have been accusations that the Gunners lack leaders
However, Ramdale’s comments show that the Arsenal players are leaders in their own ways and share the responsibility.

It is also very encouraging to see the Arsenal players respect Aubameyang so much.
The 32-year-old Gabon international striker has not been at his best since last season, but it is very good to see that the Arsenal players still believe in him.
The Arsenal no. 14 has scored three goals in six Premier League games so far the season.
