Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has raved about Everton star Jordan Pickford on England’s YouTube channel.
Ramsdale, who joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in the summer transfer window, and Everton goalkeeper Pickford are England international teammates.
The Arsenal star said about Pickford: “It’s a great learning curve. Someone who came into the team quite young and experienced and the summer he had at the World Cup cemented himself into the team.
“I think he’s going to be one of England’s best goalkeepers, the success he has had with the football team.
“What a character he is as well! Great guy to be around when you are in camp, he is alway making you smile.”
Important player for Everton and England
When people speak about the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, they do not always mention Pickford.
The former Sunderland goalkeeper has made mistakes from time to time for Everton, and not everyone gives him the credit for what he has done with England.

Pickford – who cost Everton £25 million in transfer fees in the summer of 2017, as reported by BBC Sport at the time – is very solid between the posts for England.
The Everton star is still only 27, and he could end up staying the number one goalkeeper for England for years to come.
If England win the World Cup and the European Championship in the coming years, then Pickford will cement his place among the greats.
It might sound silly to some now, but when you watch Pickford play for England, he is very calm and commanding in his area.
