West Ham United sold Cheikhou Kouyaté to Crystal Palace during the summer transfer window.

West Ham decided to sell Kouyaté to Crystal Palace soon after Manuel Pellegrini took charge.
The central midfielder is now due to come up against his former side for the first time, when Crystal Palace take on West Ham at the weekend.
And Cresswell admits that Kouyate’s departure has left a void in the West Ham dressing room, just like James Tomkins’ exit did two years ago.
The left-back said: “I’m looking forward to seeing some old faces. They’re two great lads and we had some brilliant times over the years.

“Cheik has only just gone recently and he was a loss, not only on the pitch but in the changing room. It was the same when Tonks left a couple of years back as he’s another great lad and a top defender. It’ll be good to see them both.”
Kouyate was let go to make room for the addition of Jack Wilshere, but the ex-Arsenal man has not made a great impression so far.
Wilshere has struggled badly with injuries, and is still not back to full fitness.
West Ham go into their match with Palace in good form, having won their last two matches on the bounce.
