Aaron Cresswell is an important player for West Ham United.

West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell has spoken highly of the club’s fans in The Times.
Cresswell has said that West Ham fans love the players who work hard for the team and give their all.
The 29-year-old England international left-back has also admitted that it was hard for the players at the London Stadium during the first season they played there.
Cresswell told The Times: “The first thing I found about West Ham was that as long as you work hard for these people who are paying their hard-earned money, working nine to six, six days a week, they will respect and love you.
“That’s similar to my background with my parents, that work ethic. If you put the effort in, they will love you, and if you have a bit of magic to go with that you become a legend, like Paolo Di Canio and those people.”
The left-back added about the London Stadium: “There’s no lying about it, the first year was definitely difficult. This is the third year now and it has improved massively.
“Everyone has got to know where everyone’s sitting. You turn up to a game and everything is done properly.”

Stats
Cresswell joined West Ham from Ipswich Town in the summer of 2014 and has established himself as an important player for the London club.
The left-back has made 18 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Hammers so far this season, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
West Ham are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 42 points from 33 matches, five points behind seventh-placed Leicester City, who have played 34 games.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side will return to action on Saturday evening when they take on Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
