Danny Murphy has said on talkSPORT (12:54pm, February 7, 2022) that Rangers midfielder Aaron Ramsey could damage the chances of Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic winning the title this season.
The former Liverpool midfielder has praised Ramsey, who joined Rangers on loan from Juventus in the January transfer window.
Murphy believes that if the former Arsenal star is fit, then he will have a big say on whether or not Celtic beat Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Rangers to the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Celtic are at the top of the league table at the moment with 60 points from 25 matches, a point clear of second-placed and defending champions Rangers.
Aaron Ramsey in Rangers v Celtic title race
Murphy said about Ramsey on talkSPORT (12:54pm, February 7, 2022): “He will have quality. If he is fit, he will make a difference. He is a quality player. He is creative, he is calm, and he has got experience.”

Exciting
In our view, Rangers and Celtic are likely to settle the Scottish Premiership title race on the final day of the season.
The Gers have not been doing particularly well in recent weeks and lost to their bitter Old Firm rivals at Celtic Park last week.
However, we know how good Rangers are, and the arrival of Ramsey is going to make them even better.
The former Arsenal star is a very good and dynamic midfielder who will be hungry to show what he is capable of after struggling with injury problems and lack of playing time.
