The Denmark international’s experience at playing under this ‘three at the back system’ ensures that he wouldn’t need a settling in period if he were to join Wolves next month.
It could even be argued that Christensen is a better centre-back than anything the high-flying Midlands side have at their disposal despite their brilliant start to the campaign.
There is no doubt that the feel of European football is in the air at Molineux and an addition like Christensen would boost the club’s chances of reaching those ambitious targets.
