West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has risked the wrath of supporters with cutting remarks regarding their London Stadium demands.

Fans arrive at the London Stadium during the Premier League match between West Ham United and Burnley at London Stadium on March 10, 2018 in London, England.

There are no two ways about it, West Ham fans have not taken to their new London Stadium home.

The Hammers are a club in crisis on and off the pitch.

Supporters are furious over what they feel are a string of broken promises from the board over transfers, ambition, spending and crucially the move to the former Olympic Stadium.

A host of promises were made about what the club would be inheriting at the London Stadium which have not been delivered, chiefly the distance seats are from the pitch and its negative impact it has had on the atmosphere.

Fans want the matchday experience to be improved by making the stadium and surrounding area feel more like West Ham‘s home.

Co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold are under increasing pressure to sell up while Karren Brady is unpopular with supporters for her role in the club’s move and migration to their new Stratford home.

At the very least Hammers fans want vast improvements to the ground given what was promised and the reality.

Now Brady has risked making herself even more unpopular with supporters after branding their demands ‘impossible and contradictory’ in a meeting with supporters.

West Ham United Independent Supporters Association attended the club’s Emergency Supporters Advisory Board meeting on Monday night.

And the minutes sent to members reveal Brady’s cutting comments on supporters’ demands just a week after co-owner David Sullivan reassured fans there is a clause in the club’s deal that they can make changes to the London Stadium.

“When it was pointed out that the SAB doesn’t have a lot of credibility with the people who wanted to protest, Karren Brady referred to her infamous letter but she said the protestors couldn’t agree, and that what they wanted was “something and nothing”,” the minutes read.

“Some of what they wanted was impossible and some of it was contradictory.

“When it was suggested that the cancellation of the march was a contributing factor to the events in the second half, Karren Brady said she had no role in that decision. “Some people seem to think I am a witch with magical powers.”
