Javier Hernandez has told ESPN that reported Liverpool target, Christian Pulisic, is a ‘very top talented’ player.
The 22-year-old has had a stop-start season in Chelsea colours and injuries have seemingly affected his chances of kicking on during this now concluded campaign.
One of many rising American talents across Europe, Pulisic is a seemingly wanted man, with the Daily Mail claiming in March that Liverpool were keen to bring him to Merseyside this summer.
Chelsea are pretty jam-packed in the attacking third and one of their top talents, whether it’s a Pulisic or a Callum Hudson-Odoi perhaps need to make way because not all of them can earn the game time they crave.
Well, Hernandez, who was in such a situation when he was in Manchester United colours many years ago, had this advice for the left-footed speedster, as he praised his talents.
“He’s a very top talented young player in the world,” said Hernandez. “That’s why he is with one of the best clubs in the world. And now he’s going to play in the Champions League final.
“I am no one to give advice. But I think he’s doing the correct thing. If he’s playing 90 minutes or one minute. He should try to give everything.
“The other thing is that he’s another guy who’s humble enough to know that it doesn’t matter the age. It doesn’t matter the talent. You always need to keep listening and being open to learn a lot of new stuff and try to be a better version of every game.
“I think he’s been doing it so far, so good.”

A lot of eyes will be on the Champions League final next week and whether someone like Pulisic can light up the biggest stage on the domestic circuit.
It’s set up for him to showcase to the world what he’s about because if he can work his magic then his stock will seriously rise.
But the all-English final is packed with attacking talent from Pulisic himself, his quick-thinking teammate Mason Mount to Manchester City’s rising star, Phil Foden.
