The Leeds United goalkeeper was in excellent form last night.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s 1-0 win over Reading last night, and offered high words of praise for Bailey Peacock-Farrell following his last-gasp penalty save, as quoted by Leeds Live.
The Whites now sit in second spot in the Championship table, just one point adrift of league leaders Norwich City, and Bielsa’s men have arguably played the best football in the entire division this season.
They had to rely on Peacock-Farrell last night, however, and the three points against the Royals could prove to be incredibly important for Leeds come what May.
Bielsa addressed the media last night, and suggested that the 22-year-old’s self-esteem would have been improved after his performance between the sticks against Reading, as quoted by Leeds Live:

“The intervention he has tonight improves the self-esteem of a goalkeeper. He allowed us to win the game. I’m very happy for him and I’m very happy for the team. You have intervention that resolves games and he has a very big influence in the fact that we didn’t lose two points today.”
The Leeds academy graduate has played in all but one of the Whites’ 19 Championship games so far this season, and he is already showing signs that he is developing into a truly top class stopper.
With more than half of the season still to go, however, he must maintain this form, if Leeds are to achieve promotion back to the Premier League.
