Liverpool striker was injured after scoring.
Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge’s battle with injuries continues.
He scored the third goal in Liverpool’s impressive 3-0 win over Bayern Munich this evening, before limping off with a muscle injury.

After the game manager Jurgen Klopp admitted it is a blow to see Sturridge injured again, but said it is too early to assess the extent of the damage.
Speaking to the club website he said: “I can’t say yet [how bad the injury is]. He hurt his thigh. He has really prepared well, really well, so I hope this is just a small injury and that he can play again soon.
“The goal was great and he had a chance just before that. You could see how fast he is. It’s a shame and I hope it’s nothing serious.”

Liverpool won the game through goals from Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Daniel Sturridge. Marko Grujic also had one disallowed.
The Reds’ win has put them into the Audi Cup final, but the game they really will be focusing on is their Premier League opener on August 12.
They face Watford at Vicarage Road and Sturridge could face a race against time to prove himself fit.
After his poor luck with injuries over the past three years, this is not the way the England international will have wanted to begin the 2017/18 seaosn.
