Swansea City manager Steve Cooper has called reported Rangers target Rhian Brewster a real threat after the Liverpool loanee scored twice on Saturday, Wales Online report.
The Swans returned to Championship action with a bang at the Riverside Stadium.
Three goals inside the opening 34 minutes put Swansea on their way to a comfortable 3-0 win at Middlesbrough as they set their sights on the playoffs.

Brewster, who joined on loan from Liverpool in January, netted twice.
Speaking to reporters, Cooper was full of praise for the striker linked with Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.
“He looked a real threat, got his two goals and he’s disappointed he didn’t get three. He’s a really good player. Rhian obviously will get some headlines because he got a brace but it’s as a consequence of the team playing the way we want to play,” Cooper explained.
Brewster will be looking to make a big impression ahead of the summer.
According to the Scottish Sun, Rangers want to sign him once his loan at Swansea ends with Brewster having played under Gers boss Gerrard in Liverpool’s U18s.
Ovie Ejaria, Ryan Kent and Sheyi Ojo have all spent time on loan at Rangers from Liverpool, with Kent later making his move permanent.
Brewster isn’t likely to make Jurgen Klopp’s senior squad next season, therefore another loan spell away from the Premier League leaders makes sense and he won’t be short of suitors.
The 20-year-old now has six goals in 12 games for Swansea.
Cooper will be hoping he can continue his fine form as the Welsh side look to come out on top in what appears now to be a race for that last playoff spot.
